Blendos B-League Week 2 Schedule, Things to Watch, Player Props

Although week 2 is set to launch on Sunday, This will be the first game for several teams this season. I believe its important to create a healthy but competitve atmosphere so hopefully this is only viewed as a line for motivational purposes only.

As the league comissioner, I must reiterate that I am extremely thankful for all participants and am only attempting to bring an additional entertainment factor to the program.

Orange (DL Baker Contracting) @ Twin Mountain Top Construction (Blue)

The line was set due to perceived strength and cohesiveness of the DL Baker Contracting Roster vs Twin Mountain Top Construction's.

Team captain Damian Zimmer goes back to his roots with Orange, he has previously won 3 championships wearing the color.

DL Baker enters the 24 season with a star studded roster including: Zyeir Lawrence, Aaron Smith and Spring A League MVP Danny Njoku.

Orange currently only has 6 players listed on thier roster. League Veterans Dan Baker & Jordan Smith should provide initial depth at shooting and on the defensive end.

Twin Mountain Top Construction is led by Graham Wooden, (who is a pre-season favorite to win MVP) is supported by league Veterans Dylan Jaklitsch & Jake Imperato, they will face challenges this summer as their roster is loaded with youth talent.

The complete free agent 2 roster is still an absolute mystery. We will dive deeper with analysis for this team next week.

Although this game is deemed the "clash of free agent teams", Cheshcuts players have played multiple seasons together and i believe that will pay dividens come sunday.

The Cheshcuts team is currently 0-1 coming off a 16 point loss vs Table Rock Fitness/ Team Blendos but in that game Travis Moyer led all scorers 35 points.

Teammate Brock Weidman struggled offensively resulting in a 3/26 shooting effort contributing 10 points as the teams second highest scorer.

IF Cheshcuts can find rythm offensively, they should easily cover

For this game it is a little easier because i have a small sample size from each team to go off of. Dante's Pizzeria is coming into this contest undefeated at 1-0 after beating M Mcoy Contsuction on sunday.

Dante's Pizzeria is lead by a group of veteran basketball players with the youngest player being approximatley 35 years old. Im not sure if i believe the old man gimmick as a player caught a two hand dunk in transition during thier game last week.

The Dante's team only had 5 players for thier game but all five scored in double figures.

The cheshcuts team will be playing thier second game of the day vs Dantes which influences the spread.

This game is really tricky to call due to several unknown factors.

Lockwood Painting/ Husteds Trucking enters this contest at 0-2 after playing two tough games on opening weekend.

This team shows alot of promise and has alot of potential. They have a deep roster consiting of 10 players and will need to navigate playing time in crucial situations throughout the season.

Team Captain Devon Hartwell informed me post game that he may have found the missing link adding Ethan Butts to his roster.

Lockwood Painting/Husteds Trucking is currently being led by Braden Murphy 11 ppg 6.5 rpg

This will be the first game for Catskill Region Surveying Services. This team has consistenly played together for the past 3 summers with the addition of only a few new players.

Forest green also has a very deep roster but the team has progressively increased thier offensive production, defensive execution and team unity.

Forest green roster consits of several Blendos veterans including team captian Colby Fancher and Arie Brunson. They will be supported by current semi-pro player Josh Gregory (Herkimer OG's)

In an unfortunate series of events, we have an immediate grudgematch from week 1.

Himothy doesn't care and he expressively insisted upon a 25.5 player prop line for the game.

When these two teams met on sunday, Blue walked away victorius but this time around it will be Blue's second game of the day and although Captain Deen Salaam informed me that he has added depth to his roster, it will be interesting to see how the old guys handle thier first double session of the season

In our final game of the night, the 2-0 Table Rock Fitness / Team Blendos squad is looking to remain undefeated against M McCoy Construction.

Connor Van der Sommen is leading the Black team currently with 22.0 ppg followed by 17.0 from Kevin Kurkowski.

Team Blendos /Table Rock Fitness is currently led by Blendos rookie Mike Baffour 25.5 ppg 16 rpg followed by yours truly with 24.5 ppg 5.5 apg 11 rpg.

Bruce Dunckle is also currently averaging 19 ppg for Table Rock Fitness/ Team Blendos.
