Sloan's NY Grill + Red Jug Pub (Red) 81, Benson Agency Real Estate (Orange) 73

Sloan’s NY Grill + Red Jug Pub defeated Benson Agency Real Estate 81-73 in a competitive, high-level A League matchup. Although Benson Agency jumped out to an early lead, Sloan’s responded with a strong comeback and pulled away in the second half behind superior shooting efficiency and balanced contributions from multiple players.

Game Flow

Benson Agency came out aggressive and dominated the early portion of the game, building a 10-2 lead. Sloan’s slowly clawed their way back into the contest and eventually took control, leading 40-33 at halftime behind efficient shooting from Connor Van der Sommen and Ibrahim Wally. Benson Agency responded in the second half and stayed competitive, but Sloan’s maintained better overall execution and rebounding, ultimately securing an 8-point victory.

Standout Performances

Sloan's NY Grill + Red Jug Pub (Red)

Ibrahim Wally led Sloan’s with 25 points on 9-of-16 shooting while grabbing 11 rebounds.

Connor Van der Sommen had an efficient night, finishing with 22 points on 7-of-11 shooting (including 6-of-9 from three) while adding 4 rebounds and 3 assists.

Zyeir Lawrence contributed 24 points on 9-of-18 shooting along with 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals.

Benson Agency Real Estate (Orange)

Britten Zeh led Benson Agency with a game-high 28 points on 10-of-25 shooting while also dishing out 6 assists.

Makya Morrison had a strong all-around game, finishing with 14 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals.

Team Stat Comparison Final Score: Sloan’s 81 | Benson Agency 73

  • Field Goal %: Sloan’s 45% | Benson Agency 39%

  • 3PT %: Sloan’s 44% | Benson Agency 38%

  • Rebounds: Sloan’s 39 | Benson Agency 33

  • Assists: Sloan’s 22 | Benson Agency 20

  • Turnovers: Sloan’s 10 | Benson Agency 9

  • Steals: Sloan’s 5 | Benson Agency 9

Advanced Metrics Analysis

Sloan’s won this game with better overall efficiency and rebounding. They posted a strong 54.69% eFG% compared to Benson Agency’s 47.83%. Their ability to shoot the ball at a higher rate from both the field and beyond the arc (44% from three) gave them a consistent scoring advantage throughout the game.

Sloan’s also controlled the glass (+6 rebounding margin) and moved the ball effectively (22 assists), which helped them generate higher-quality looks and limit Benson Agency’s second-chance opportunities. Although Benson Agency recorded more steals (9 vs 5) and stayed competitive in the second half, their lower shooting efficiency and inability to match Sloan’s rebounding prevented them from completing a comeback.

Ibrahim Wally, Connor Van der Sommen, and Zyeir Lawrence were the difference-makers for Sloan’s, combining for 71 points while impacting the game on both ends. Britten Zeh had a strong scoring night for Benson Agency with 28 points, and Marc Rivera’s hustle plays helped keep Benson Agency in the game longer than the final score might suggest. However, the team as a whole was held back by less efficient shooting and a rebounding disadvantage.

Benson Agency Real Estate thrived in the transition game and often scored easy baskets of off fast break opportunities.

Despite Benson Agency’s strong start and Rivera’s energetic contributions, Sloan’s showed better composure and execution over the full game, using their shooting and rebounding advantages to secure a solid 8-point win. This game was much closer than the box score indicated!

Yak's Youth Center (Black) 81, Bello Electric (Navy) 78 (OT)

Yak’s Youth Center defeated Bello Electric 81-78 in overtime in one of the most dramatic games of the week. What began as a lopsided contest turned into a wild comeback filled with adversity, resilience, and several momentum swings before Yak’s ultimately prevailed in extra time.

Game Flow

Yak’s started the game severely short-handed, playing 4-on-5 for much of the first half. Bello Electric took full advantage and built a commanding 36-18 halftime lead. However, the tide began to turn when Jo Annan and Josiah Annan arrived just in time to start the second half. Yak’s immediately sparked a massive comeback, outscoring Bello Electric 56-39 in the second half to force overtime.

The drama continued in the second half when Evan Lane fouled out with eight minutes remaining, forcing Bello Electric to play 4-on-5 while still holding a 9-point lead. Despite the disadvantage, Bello Electric stayed competitive, but Yak’s continued to chip away. In overtime, both teams had chances to win, but Bello Electric was unable to convert their opportunities, and Yak’s made the decisive plays to escape with a hard-fought 3-point victory.

Standout Performances

Yak's Youth Center (Black)

Ralph Williams delivered a historic performance, finishing with 42 points on 11-of-19 shooting (including 5-of-10 from three) while adding 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals.

  • Field Goal %: Yak’s 45% | Bello Electric 45%

  • 3PT %: Yak’s 45% | Bello Electric 37%

  • Assists: Yak’s 12 | Bello Electric 15

  • Turnovers: Yak’s 12 | Bello Electric 13

  • Steals: Yak’s 7 | Bello Electric 5

Advanced Metrics Analysis This was a wild, back-and-forth game defined by adversity and resilience. Both teams shot at the same overall field goal percentage (45%), but Yak’s held a clear advantage from beyond the arc (45% vs 37%). The biggest story, however, was Yak’s historic second-half comeback after trailing by 18 at halftime while playing short-handed for much of the first half.

Ralph Williams was the clear difference-maker for Yak’s. His 42-point outburst, combined with strong playmaking and defensive contributions, gave Yak’s the firepower they needed to erase a massive deficit and win in overtime. The arrival of Jo Annan and Josiah Annan to start the second half proved critical, as Yak’s immediately began their climb back into the game.

Bello Electric played with tremendous heart. They led by as many as 18 points and were still ahead by 9 when Evan Lane fouled out with eight minutes left in the second half, forcing them to play 4-on-5. Despite the disadvantage, they stayed competitive and had multiple opportunities to win the game in the final minutes and overtime. However, they were ultimately unable to close it out.

Yak’s showed remarkable resilience, overcoming a 18-point halftime deficit and playing short-handed early to secure a thrilling 3-point overtime victory.

Integrated Chiropractic (Grey) 102, Yak's Youth Center (Black) 77

Integrated Chiropractic defeated Yak’s Youth Center 102-77 in a dominant performance. The Grey team shot at an elite level and got historic scoring outbursts from two of their top players, overwhelming Yak’s from start to finish.

Game Flow

Integrated Chiropractic came out firing on all cylinders, building a 42-37 halftime lead behind efficient shooting and strong play from Abdul Ibrahim and Seamus DeMauro. They continued to pull away in the second half, outscoring Yak’s 60-40 while shooting at an extremely high percentage. Yak’s struggled to keep pace as Integrated Chiropractic’s offense clicked at a high level throughout the game.

Standout Performances

Integrated Chiropractic (Grey)

Abdul Ibrahim delivered a monster performance, finishing with 41 points on 14-of-27 shooting while grabbing 11 rebounds and dishing out 5 assists.

Seamus DeMauro was equally dominant, scoring 34 points on an elite 16-of-19 shooting (84%) while adding 11 rebounds.

Yak's Youth Center (Black)

Jo Annan led Yak’s with 34 points on 14-of-23 shooting while grabbing 9 rebounds and recording 5 assists.

Ralph Williams added 24 points on 7-of-23 shooting along with 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals.

Team Stat Comparison Final Score: Integrated Chiropractic 102 | Yak’s 77

  • Field Goal %: Integrated Chiropractic 59% | Yak’s 42%

  • 3PT %: Integrated Chiropractic 36% | Yak’s 35%

  • Rebounds: Integrated Chiropractic 37 | Yak’s 21

  • Assists: Integrated Chiropractic 12 | Yak’s 12

  • Turnovers: Integrated Chiropractic 12 | Yak’s 5

  • Steals: Integrated Chiropractic 3 | Yak’s 3

Advanced Metrics Analysis

This was a complete domination by Integrated Chiropractic on the offensive end. They finished with an elite 68.12% eFG% — one of the highest marks we’ve seen this season — while holding Yak’s to a much lower 50.00% eFG%. Their ability to shoot the ball at such a high percentage (59% FG) and get to the free-throw line efficiently (89% FT) made them nearly impossible to defend.

Abdul Ibrahim and Seamus DeMauro were the clear difference-makers. Their combined 75 points, along with strong rebounding from both players, gave Integrated Chiropractic too many weapons for Yak’s to contain. The Grey team also controlled the glass (+16 rebounding margin), which limited Yak’s second-chance opportunities and helped them maintain offensive flow.

Yak’s got strong individual performances from Jo Annan (34 points) and Ralph Williams (24 points), but the team as a whole was outmatched in efficiency, rebounding, and overall execution. Their inability to slow down Ibrahim and DeMauro, combined with getting out-rebounded significantly, led to a decisive 25-point loss.

Integrated Chiropractic played at an extremely high level offensively and physically dominated Yak’s on the glass, resulting in one of the most lopsided games of the week.

This game was a challenge for Yaks Youth Center who previously played an overtime game with only 5 players.
