This past Sunday we had our first full slate of games scheduled for the day. It was very interesting to see the regular season ending unfold and some unforseen events will definitely shape this going into playoffs.
B League Outlook
Berry
Tips for the Berry Team to Overcome Adversity
1. Focus on Team Cohesion
Encourage strong communication and teamwork. Building trust among teammates can enhance performance under pressure.
2. Develop a Game Plan
Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the Military Green team. Create a strategic game plan that plays to Berry's strengths while exploiting the opponent's weaknesses.
Sidenote: This is one of the hardest teams to plan for. This past weekend Jo Annan was not present at the start of the game vs Poolbrook Contacting (White) and he was not there at the finish either. He showed up midway through the first and left with 10 minutes remaining in the 2nd half after scoring 24 pts going 5/5 from 2 and 4 for 6 from 3.
Berry & Military Green faced off week 1 and Military Green walked away with a tough 2 pt victory. It's ironic that this rematch will serve to end someone's season.
3. Emphasize Mental Toughness
Prepare the team mentally for the challenges ahead. Techniques such as visualization, positive affirmations, and mindfulness can help players stay focused and resilient.

It was a heartbreaking loss. Fortunately for Black, they had a game right after to quickly forget the sting of losing at the buzzer but I heard a player from black say "I dont care, No one wants to lose like that". In all honesty, he wasn't wrong, but that's basketball for ya!
