Final Regular Season Week – Sunday, April 26, 2026
The final week of the regular season began with a mix of frustration and determination at the Oneonta Armory. With playoff positioning on the line for several B League teams, the day featured a forfeit, must-win battles, and strong performances as squads fought for one of the final top-8 spots.
Game Recaps
Carolina Blue 50 – Sapphire 0 Forfeit
– 9:30 AM | Oneonta Armory
The first scheduled game of the day ended before it began. Sapphire was unable to field a full team, resulting in a 50-0 forfeit victory awarded to Carolina Blue.
Game Flow
With Sapphire unable to appear, the game was ruled a forfeit per league rules. Carolina Blue received the automatic win and 50 points.
Playoff Implications This gave Carolina Blue a much-needed win on paper, improving their record. However, as a forfeit, it provided no real momentum or competitive rhythm heading into their much tougher game later in the day. This would ultimately not be enough for Carolina Blue to reach the top 8
