Week 3 of the Blendos Spring 2026 B League is officially in the books. With no A League games this weekend, all eyes were on the 13-team B League as every squad now has at least one game under their belt.
Team Blendos (Black) continued their perfect start despite roster challenges, while Purple stayed unbeaten. Red and Orchid remained strong contenders, and several new debuts and father-son duos added to the league’s unique culture.
Below is the complete Week 3 game-by-game recap, followed by an integrated team and individual statistical analysis that combines standings, team leaders, and player leaders into one cohesive deep dive.
Game Recaps

2:00 PM – Team Blendos (Black) 82 – MAMCO (Grey) 57
Team Blendos (Black) improved to 4-0 with a 25-point statement win in a contest that began shorthanded.
Game Flow: A tight first half ended with Blendos up 30-28. The second half was all Blendos as they outscored MAMCO 52-29 behind elite ball movement and defensive stops.
Standout Performances:
Britten Zeh (Team Blendos Black): 22 PTS (8-18 FG, 6-12 3PT), 5 REB, 3 AST, 3 STL (GmSc 14.7, EFF 20)
Cam Hayes (Team Blendos Black): 17 PTS (7-17 FG), 16 REB, 11 AST, 2 STL, 3 BLK (GmSc 16.6, EFF 35) — Triple-Double Alert
Maddox Imperato (Team Blendos Black): 26 PTS (12-26 FG), 14 REB, 3 STL (GmSc 11.3, EFF 25)
Mason Chard (Team Blendos Black): 10 PTS (5-13 FG), 11 REB, 2 AST (GmSc 6.0, EFF 17)
Mike Tandle (Team Blendos Black): 4 PTS (2-9 FG), 4 REB, 3 AST (GmSc 0.2, EFF 3)
Jared Conklin (MAMCO Grey): 21 PTS (7-12 FG, 5-5 FT), 5 REB, 6 AST (GmSc 19.6, EFF 27)
Kyle Greiner (MAMCO Grey): 6 PTS (3-15 FG), 8 REB, 4 AST (GmSc -3.5, EFF 3)
Roster Notes & Context: Cam Hayes played through a first-half injury. (Cooperstown Alumni) Mike Tandle provided mid-game reinforcements after attending the NY State Championship (Cooperstown Hawkeyes 52, Berne-Knox-Westerlo 43).
Early Standings Impact: This statement win against a previously competitive MAMCO squad pushed Blendos to 4-0. Let’s hope this is not a common theme for Team Blendos, as last year they went undefeated in the regular season, securing the #1 seed, only to forfeit the playoffs in the first round due to limited availability from rostered players.

3:00 PM – Team Blendos (Black) 108 – Poolbrook Contracting (Gold) 61
Team Blendos (Black) improved to 4-0 and became the first (and so far only) team this season to score 100+ points.
Game Flow: With seven players available, Blendos controlled the game from tip-off and never looked back, building a commanding lead by halftime and cruising to the century mark in the second half.
Standout Performances:
Britten Zeh (Team Blendos Black): 40 PTS (16-24 FG, 8-13 3PT), 9 REB, 5 AST, 5 STL (GmSc 37.1, EFF 50)
Cam Hayes (Team Blendos Black): 20 PTS (9-19 FG), 9 REB, 13 AST, 5 TO, 1 STL (GmSc 15.4, EFF 28) Double Double
Mason Chard (Team Blendos Black): 19 PTS (8-14 FG), 5 REB, 5 AST, 2 TO, 1 STL, 1 BLK (GmSc 15.2, EFF 22)
Maddox Imperato (Team Blendos Black): 8 PTS (4-15 FG), 3 REB, 9 AST, 3 TO, 2 STL, 1 BLK (GmSc 5.1, EFF 9)
Tony Hendrich (Poolbrook Contracting Gold): 31 PTS (15-26 FG, 1-1 3PT), 20 REB, 2 AST (GmSc 15.2, EFF 37) Double Double
Cyller Cimko (Poolbrook Contracting Gold): 15 PTS (7-15 FG), 3 REB, 4 AST, 2 STL, 1 BLK (GmSc 8.4, EFF 12) Roster Notes: 4 new players suited up for Team Blendos on the day, with only one of those four on the original roster.
Early Standings Impact: The 100-point outburst and 4-0 record solidify Blendos (Black) as the early frontrunner, but the ongoing depth concerns from the first game remain a storyline to watch.

4:00 PM – Red 99 – Poolbrook Contracting (Gold) 60
Red improved to 3-0 with a convincing 39-point victory.
Game Flow: Red jumped out to a big lead early and maintained control throughout, using their interior dominance to dictate the tempo.
Standout Performances:
Derek Wright (Red): 28 PTS (11-19 FG, 4-6 3PT), 9 REB, 1 AST, 3 TO, 2 STL, 2 BLK (GmSc 20.2, EFF 31)
Jason Davis (Red): 23 PTS (10-27 FG), 19 REB, 9 AST, 3 TO, 4 STL, 10 BLK (GmSc 22.4, EFF 45) Triple Double
George Sheley (Red): 27 PTS (11-21 FG, 5-13 3PT), 4 REB, 7 AST, 2 TO, 5 STL (GmSc 24.6, EFF 31)
Tony Hendrich (Poolbrook Contracting Gold): 16 PTS (7-17 FG, 2-6 3PT), 10 REB, 1 AST (GmSc 8.4, EFF 19) Double Double
Jesse Chase (Poolbrook Contracting Gold): 13 PTS (6-20 FG), 9 REB, 5 AST, 6 TO, 2 STL (GmSc 0.9, EFF 9)
Roster Notes & Context: Red’s veteran presence and physicality inside continue to make them a tough matchup even without Ray Williams present. The Red Team has been playing short handed and are looking to soldify the roster for the rest of the season.
Early Standings Impact: The blowout keeps Red undefeated and positions them as one of the top defensive teams in the league.

5:00 PM – Oneonta Job Corps Academy (White) 60 – Bello/Richfield (Midnight Navy) 51
Oneonta Job Corps Academy (White) earned its first win of the season, defeating Bello/Richfield 60-51.
Game Flow: A tightly contested game that saw OJCA pull away late with strong defensive play and timely scoring.
Standout Performances:
James Bunton (Oneonta Job Corps Academy White): 25 PTS (12-20 FG), 5 REB, 3 AST, 5 STL, 5 BLK (GmSc 20.9, EFF 28)
Rashad Bester (Oneonta Job Corps Academy White): 7 PTS (3-8 FG), 9 REB, 5 STL, 4 BLK (GmSc 3.3, EFF 12)
Eddie Bello (Bello/Richfield): 11 PTS (4-10 FG, 3-5 3PT), 7 REB, 2 AST (GmSc 8.4, EFF 16)
Jo Annan (Bello/Richfield): 8 PTS (3-6 FG), 1 REB, 3 AST, 2 STL, 1 BLK (GmSc 4.9, EFF 5)
Roster Notes & Context: The OJCA team was in high spirits after finally winning a game on the season. They had been in multiple late game situations that unfortunately resulted in a Loss. I Believe the Midnight Navy Team will look to bounce back in week 4 vs Green. JO & Josiah Annan arrived late for the game. I overheard JO tell some of the OJCA players "Y'all Lucky I Was Late!"
Early Standings Impact: The victory gives OJCA momentum and prevents them from falling further behind in the early standings.

6:00 PM – Carolina Blue 69 – Sapphire 57
Carolina Blue improved to 2-1 with a solid 12-point win over Sapphire.
Game Flow: Carolina Blue built a comfortable halftime lead and maintained it with balanced scoring and disciplined defense.
Standout Performances:
Jonathan Codrington (Carolina Blue): 26 PTS (12-17 FG), 13 REB, 5 AST, 2 STL, 2 BLK (GmSc 23.7, EFF 40) — Double-Double

Alex Woeppel (Pink): 17 PTS (8-15 FG), 4 REB, 3 AST, 2 STL (GmSc 10.8, EFF 16)
Malachi Ritter (Pink): 17 PTS (6-15 FG, 5-13 3PT), 6 REB, 3 AST, 1 STL, 1 BLK (GmSc 11.7, EFF 18)

Standout Performances:
Arie Brunson (Purple): 26 PTS (12-17 FG), 12 REB, 3 AST (GmSc 16.0, EFF 31) — Double-Double
Ryan Ashline (Purple): 27 PTS (9-17 FG), 8 REB, 6 AST, 3 STL (GmSc 24.1, EFF 33)
Devon Chabot (Purple): 24 PTS (12-24 FG), 10 REB, 4 AST (GmSc 10.8, EFF 22) — Double-Double

Pat Terk (Green): 14 PTS (5-16 FG), 4 REB, 2 AST, 3 TO, 2 STL, 1 BLK (GmSc 5.1, EFF 7)
Roster Notes & Context: Purple’s balanced attack and depth continue to make them one of the most complete teams.
Early Standings Impact: The victory solidifies Purple’s spot at the top alongside Blendos (Black).

8:45 PM – Purple 92 – Orchid 73

Key Integrated Insights
The data reveals a league clearly separating into tiers. Blendos (Black) and Purple dominate in scoring, assists, and advanced shooting metrics (eFG% and TS%), while Red’s stingy defense (56.7 points allowed per game) and block total anchor their undefeated mark. Cam Hayes remains the most complete performer, powering Blendos despite depth challenges. Aaron Smith, Britten Zeh, and Shea Barber deliver the high-volume efficiency that matches their teams’ success, and Jason Davis’ block rate is an outlier that impacts game flow.
The gap between the top five teams and the bottom quartet is statistically meaningful and widening. Teams above league average in eFG%, AST/TO, and rebounding are winning consistently; those below are struggling to stay competitive. With Blendos (Black) and Purple combining elite team and individual production, they currently project as the favorites, but Red’s interior strength and Orchid’s rebounding offer legitimate upset potential as the season progresses.
Season-Long Prediction Record Tracker (2026 Spring Season)
Week 1 Predictions (made before any games, based on roster notes, returning players, and preseason intel): I went 4-3 in Week 1.
Correct on KK vs Bello, Orange vs J&D Wagon Wheel (A League), and two B League matchups involving strong favorites.
Missed on three close B League games where underdogs performed better than expected (mainly due to unexpected shooting nights and roster subs).
Week 2 Predictions (detailed with spreads in the Week 2 blog): 7-0 (perfect week). All 7 calls were correct, including Blendos (Black) winning shorthanded twice, Red’s interior dominance, and Purple handling the doubleheader. Spreads were accurate or slightly conservative on several blowouts.
Week 3 Predictions (made in the previous Week 2-to-3 blog transition): 7-0 (another perfect week). Every spread held up, with actual margins often matching or exceeding my calls thanks to strong performances from top-tier teams like Blendos (Black), Purple, and Red.
Current Season Record After Week 3: 18-3 (.857 winning percentage) I have been strongest when leaning on efficiency metrics (eFG%, EFF, rebounding differentials) and roster depth. My misses in Week 1 came from overvaluing preseason hype on a couple of teams that started slowly. Since then, the model has tightened significantly by incorporating actual Week 1 and Week 2 box-score data.
Week 4 Predictions with Over/Under Spreads (Expanded Reasoning)
Using all data through Week 3, here are the Week 4 predictions (Sunday, March 29) with detailed spreads and reasoning:
2:00 PM – Poolbrook Contracting (Gold) vs Pink
Pink -14 Pink’s league-leading rebounding (52.0 RPG) and recent offensive rhythm make them heavy favorites against a struggling 0-3 Gold team that ranks near the bottom in FG% and EFF. Gold has allowed 118 points per game in losses; Pink’s efficiency should exploit that.
2:50 PM – Pink vs Red
Red -6 This is the game of the day. Red’s elite interior defense (56.7 points allowed, league-high blocks) gives them the edge in a physical matchup, but Pink’s rebounding keeps it close. Red’s +89 net rating edges out Pink’s offensive firepower.
4:00 PM – Oneonta Job Corps Academy (White) vs MAMCO (Grey) MAMCO -8 MAMCO’s recent form (2-1) and home-court advantage should carry them past a still-developing OJCA side that ranks low in assists and eFG%. MAMCO’s veteran experience is the decisive factor.
5:00 PM – MAMCO (Grey) vs Orchid
Orchid -5 Orchid’s rebounding (44.0 RPG) and second-half execution give them the nod in a potential upset spot. MAMCO has been inconsistent on the road; Orchid’s depth and efficiency should prevail.
5:50 PM – Green vs Bello/Richfield (Midnight Navy)
Bello/Richfield -7 Green’s turnover issues make this a comfortable spot for Bello/Richfield.

Week 4 A League Schedule & Predictions
Sunday, March 29, 2026
6:45 PM – Bello Electric (Navy) vs Orange
Prediction: Orange favored by 6–9 points (Orange -6.5) Over/Under: 148.5 (Lean: Over)
This is a rematch from Week 2, where Orange trailed by 1 at halftime before pulling away for a 79-72 victory. Orange enters at 2-0 with excellent chemistry, veteran leadership from Jesse Woodard and Xavier Hill, and a balanced attack featuring Jo Annan, Dre Palmer, and newcomer Jonny Marsh. They have already shown the ability to adjust and dominate the second half against Bello’s athleticism.
Bello Electric (Navy) sits at 0-2 but has proven they can compete — they led Orange at halftime in their first meeting and pushed Gold to overtime in Week 1. Danny Njoku and Zyeir Lawrence provide big-time scoring punch, but Bello has struggled to sustain defensive intensity and close out games.
Orange should control the tempo better this time with film on Bello and should pull away late if they start strong. Bello’s path to victory is an early lead and turning the game into a high-possession track meet. Expect a competitive first half followed by Orange separation in the second.
7:45 PM – Gold vs White
Prediction: White favored by 8–12 points (White -10) Over/Under: 155.5 (Lean: Over)
This will be the first game of the season for White, a team stacked with current SUNY Oneonta Men’s Basketball players. Gold has played a couple of games already and has shown solid effort, but they will be facing a much higher level of athleticism, size, and team chemistry from a college roster that has been practicing together all season.
White should have a clear advantage in speed, length, and execution right out of the gate. Gold will need to rely on veteran savvy and hot shooting to keep it close, but White’s depth and talent make them heavy favorites in their debut.
8:45 PM – Red vs White
Prediction: White favored by 4–7 points (White -5.5) Over/Under: 152.5 (Lean: Over)
White plays their second game in roughly an hour after facing Gold. Red is also making its season debut with another group of current SUNY Oneonta players.
This back-to-back for White is the biggest variable — fatigue could set in during the second game. However, both Red and White are extremely talented, so this matchup should be the most competitive and highest-level game of the night. Red will look to exploit any tiredness from White’s doubleheader, while White will try to use their depth to wear Red down.
Expect a fast-paced, physical battle between two college-heavy squads. White gets the slight edge due to playing together as one unit longer, but this one could easily go either way depending on how fresh White is in the final quarter.
