In a dominant opening-round performance, top-seeded Purple (#1) obliterated eighth-seeded Oneonta Job Corps Academy (White) (#8) by a final score of 120-55. What was expected to be a competitive #1 vs #8 matchup turned into a complete mismatch as Purple flexed their superiority from start to finish.

Game Flow Purple came out strong and led at halftime before exploding in the second half. They built a solid lead early and then unleashed a massive 75-point second half while holding OJCA White to just 32 points. The #1 seed’s relentless pace, precision shooting, and defensive intensity turned this playoff game into a statement victory.

Game Flow Team Blendos (Black) jumped out to a commanding 38-21 halftime lead, showcasing strong offensive execution and defensive pressure. Royal Blue battled back somewhat in the second half (35-36), but Blendos maintained control and cruised to the 18-point victory to punch their ticket to the next round.

Game Flow MAMCO (Grey) got off to a strong start, leading 38-27 at halftime. They continued to pull away in the second half (44-36), using physical defense and efficient scoring to secure the 19-point win and advance comfortably.

Game Flow The game was tight throughout. Orchid held a slim 28-27 lead at halftime. In the second half, Red responded with a strong 30-point effort while limiting Orchid to 27, pulling out the narrow win in a true defensive struggle that came down to the final possessions.

Game Flow J & D Wagon Wheel (Blue) came out strong and led 41-30 at halftime. However, Bello Electric (Navy) flipped the script completely in the second half, outscoring Blue 48-24 with a dominant offensive surge and improved defensive intensity to secure the 13-point victory.

Game Flow Orange jumped out to a commanding 38-25 halftime lead with sharp execution on both ends. Bello Electric (Navy) battled back in the second half but could only manage 25 points as Orange’s defense tightened, securing the 12-point victory and a spot in the next round.

B League & A League Playoff Championship Day Preview Sunday Playoffs | Oneonta Armory

B League Semifinals (Starting at 5:00 PM)

Game 1: Purple vs Red Two dangerous teams collide in the first semifinal. Purple has been one of the most consistent and high-powered offenses in the league all season. Red, as the #5 seed, already showed their grit with a narrow first-round upset and will be looking to ride that momentum. Expect a fast-paced, high-scoring affair.

Game 2: Team Blendos (Black) vs Grey (MAMCO Grey) This is the marquee matchup of the day. Grey has been exceptional all season, with only one loss — and that loss came at the hands of Team Blendos (Black) earlier in the year (the same game in which Cam Hayes was injured).

Team Blendos (Black) remains undefeated and brings elite talent and depth, while Grey will be motivated for revenge. This has all the makings of a classic showdown between two of the league’s best teams.

B League Championship

Immediately following the second semifinal, the winners of Purple vs Red and Team Blendos (Black) vs Grey will face off for the B League Championship.

A League Championship – 8:00 PM

#1 Gold vs #2 Orange

The night caps off with an absolute blockbuster. Gold has been the clear #1 seed all season and brings incredible firepower (especially Graham Wooden and their deep roster). Orange has been rolling as the #2 seed with excellent balance and defensive toughness.

This should be a high-level, competitive final worthy of the season’s conclusion. Don't miss our on this years Summer League, we are aiming to have a ton of B league teams and our Monday Night A league will be very competitive! We also already have co ed teams being formed (Friday Nights), Come get invovled. You can bring a team or join as a Free Agent.
