The Blendos Summer Basketball League was full of exciting and energetic competitive spirit for Father's Day for our week 2 of games.
Special thanks to all the Dad's who stopped by to watch and or participate with their sons in the league on Sunday.
Game 1: Dante’s Pizzeria (Red) vs. IRR Supply (Navy) - June 15, 2025 10 am
Halftime Score: 24-58
Final Score: 48-117 (IRR wins)
Summary: IRR Supply overwhelmed Dante’s Pizzeria in a one-sided contest. Graham Wooden led IRR with 42 points, while Dante’s struggled, with Sean Robinson’s 16 points as the high. IRR’s defense forced 21 turnovers from Dante’s.

Summary: Sloan’s NY Grill delivered a dominant performance, led by Cam Hayes’ 45-point explosion. Five Star’s Kaiden Legree scored 30 points, but Sloan’s balanced attack, including 28 assists, proved too much.

Summary: Pine Peaks Painting pulled away in the second half to defeat Five Star Subaru. Hunter Balcom led with 16 points, while Five Star’s Spencer Williams scored 15. Pine Peaks’ defense held Five Star to 47 points.

Summary: Oneonta Boys & Girls Club stomped on MAMCO in what was thought to be a very competitive matchup as MAMCO was previously #1 in the league standings .
Makya Morrison, named Player of the Game, contributed 20 points ,4 blocks 6 assists, and 13 rebounds helping OBGC secure the win. Jared Conklin led MAMCO with 20 points, while Oneonta’s Cooper Labarge scored 17 points.

Summary: Catskill Region Surveying Services edged out Otsego Bicycles in a defensive showdown. Ivan Richardson, named Player of the Game, contributed 24 points and 4 steals, leading Catskill to victory. Otsego’s Ezra Ontl Led with 24 points alongside 16 from Trevor Huntsman but Catskill’s defense, bolstered by Benny Schnabel’s 10 points and 2 steals, sealed the win.
Rookie of the year prospect Teddy Kelsh put in another solid game scoring 18 points.
