This is the first time this summer that a B2 team has beaten a B1 division team. This is a testament that anything can happen!

Jake had a chance to win the game at the buzzer, however it wasnt able to fall as time expired where Black would eventually fall to Blue in overtime. However, critical turnovers proved costly for Catskill, allowing Otsego to capitalize on their mistakes. Otsego's defense was particularly impressive, recording 11 steals, and they excelled at the free throw line, sealing their victory and marking a significant upset in the league.

Ben arrived last week but couldn't play due to a back injury and departed before the game began, despite traveling nearly an hour to play. This week, he suited up and was awarded player of the game. It's fantastic to witness our league veterans defying age, leaving younger players amazed when they learn the actual age of some league members.

This was the strangest forfeit I have ever seen.
My only advice would be to make sure you check the schedule and your team schedule at a glance and take note when your team is scheduled to play 2 games.
This unscheduled extra game, added to offset a forfeit, featured two 15-minute halves instead of the standard 20-minute halves. Integrated Chiropractic/Evermore Accounting dominated, led by Ryan Linsey's 30 points. Spencer Williams was the top scorer for Five Star Subaru with 18 points. The game showcased strong performances, with Linsey and the winning team’s balanced attack outpacing their opponents.

Week 1
Unfortunately, we had to postpone the start of the summer a league last week so this was the first game of the season. In our first game we had some notable performances By Wally Ibrahim scoring 42 points alongside 10 assists and 12 rebounds and the commissioner subbed in to play with Yak's Youth Center and also contributed a triple double with 12 points 11 assists and 11 rebounds. Stevie Melendez finished with a double double scoring 20 points with 10 assists. We did not have to wait long to have the first 100 point game of the season.
Kevin Kurkowski led the way with 20 points and 10 rebounds followed by another double double from Seamus DeMauro 16 points 10 rebounds.
