11:00 AM – IRR Supply (Navy) 61, New Green (Wooden) 62

Hartwick College

New Green (Wooden) escaped with a thrilling 62-61 victory over IRR Supply in the opening game of Week 3 at Hartwick College. The game was tight throughout and came down to the final minute, with New Green making just enough plays to secure their first win of the season.

Game Flow

New Green started strong and built a 36-31 halftime lead, shooting efficiently inside and getting to the free-throw line. IRR Supply responded in the second half, chipping away at the deficit behind strong play from Marc Rivera. With under two minutes remaining, the game was tied. New Green made a crucial defensive stop and hit a free throw to take a one-point lead they would not relinquish.

Standout Performances

New Green (Wooden)

Kevin Kurkowski: 25 points (11-23 FG, 1-8 3PT, 2-6 FT), 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block

Dylan Jaklitsch: 8 points, 8 rebounds, 10 assists

IRR Supply (Navy)

Marc Rivera: 29 points (11-23 FG, 4-5 3PT), 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal

Arie Brunson: 10 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, 1 block

Alex Woeppel: 12 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals

Team Stat Comparison Final Score: New Green 62 | IRR Supply 61

  • Field Goal %: New Green 40% | IRR Supply 38%

  • 3PT %: New Green 24% | IRR Supply 30%

  • Rebounds: New Green 42 | IRR Supply 39

  • Assists: New Green 20 | IRR Supply 15

  • Turnovers: New Green 9 | IRR Supply 9

  • Steals: New Green 5 | IRR Supply 5

Advanced Metrics Analysis This was one of the closest games of the young season, and the advanced numbers reflect just how even the contest was. New Green held a slight edge in Effective Field Goal Percentage (45.97% to 43.10%) and won the rebounding battle by three boards. More importantly, they generated more assists (20 vs 15), which helped create better scoring opportunities throughout the game.

IRR Supply actually shot better from three (30% vs 24%) and had a slightly higher True Shooting Percentage in stretches, but they were unable to overcome New Green’s advantage on the glass and in ball movement. The game was ultimately decided by New Green’s ability to secure second-chance opportunities and make plays in the final possessions rather than by a large statistical gap.

Notably, this was the first B League game played at the college 3-point line. Both teams shot below their typical marks from deep, suggesting the deeper line is already having an impact on perimeter efficiency.

12:00 PM – New Green (Wooden) 74, Dante's Pizzeria + Team Blendos (Black) 73

Hartwick College

In a major upset, New Green (Wooden) defeated the previously undefeated Dante’s Pizzeria + Team Blendos 74-73 in a dramatic one-point victory at Hartwick College. The win was made even more notable by the fact that Blendos was short-handed for the third straight week, once again playing with only five players.

Game Flow

New Green jumped out to a strong start and built a 44-33 halftime lead behind efficient perimeter shooting. Blendos mounted a spirited second-half comeback despite the roster shortage, led by another dominant performance from Hobson Herlihy. The Black team fought all the way back to tie the game in the final minutes, but New Green made critical defensive stops and hit timely shots to secure the narrow victory.

Standout Performances

New Green (Wooden)

Kevin Kurkowski: 24 points (7-16 FG, 3-8 3PT, 7-10 FT), 8 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, 1 block

George Foti: 16 points (6-10 FG, 4-7 3PT)

Graham Wooden: 13 points (6-12 FG), 5 rebounds, 3 assists

Dante's Pizzeria + Team Blendos (Black)

Hobson Herlihy: 43 points (17-30 FG, 6-15 3PT, 3-6 FT), 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals

Cam Hayes: 20 points (8-19 FG), 10 rebounds, 4 assists

Team Stat Comparison Final Score: New Green 74 | Blendos 73

  • Field Goal %: New Green 44% | Blendos 44%

  • 3PT %: New Green 42% | Blendos 29%

  • Rebounds: New Green 38 | Blendos 42

  • Assists: New Green 17 | Blendos 13

  • Turnovers: New Green 6 | Blendos 7

Advanced Metrics Analysis New Green pulled off a significant upset against a short-handed but still very talented Blendos team. They held a clear efficiency advantage, posting a 54.03% eFG% compared to Blendos’ 50.00%. Most importantly, New Green shot 42% from three-point range while Blendos managed just 29%, a major difference under the new college 3-point line.

Although Blendos won the rebounding battle (+4), New Green’s superior ball movement (17 assists to 13) and much better three-point shooting to go alongside with the depth of the New Green made it a physically demanding feat for Dante's Pizzeria (Black).

The fact that this marked the third straight week Blendos played with only five players made the loss more understandable, but New Green still deserves full credit for executing at a high level and capitalizing on their efficiency from deep. Graham Wooden’s debut was a positive contributor to the victory.

1:00 PM – IRR Supply (Navy) 67, Twin Mountain Top Construction + Oneonta Boys & Girls Club (Orchid) 89

TMTC + OBGC delivered a dominant performance, defeating IRR Supply 89-67 in convincing fashion at Hartwick College. The Orchid team controlled the game from start to finish, using superior size, rebounding, and efficient inside scoring to pull away.

Game Flow

TMTC + OBGC jumped out to a 42-28 halftime lead behind strong interior play and relentless rebounding. IRR Supply tried to mount a comeback in the second half, but TMTC continued to dominate the glass and finished strong, outscoring IRR 47-39 in the final 20 minutes to secure a comfortable 22-point victory.

Advanced Metrics Analysis

TMTC + OBGC thoroughly outplayed IRR Supply across most statistical categories. They held a significant edge in Effective Field Goal Percentage (51.79% to 40.12%) and completely dominated the rebounding battle (+15). Makya Morrison’s 25 rebounds were a major factor, giving TMTC constant second-chance opportunities.

IRR Supply struggled with efficiency (32% FG) and committed 27 turnovers, which TMTC converted into easy transition scoring. While IRR Supply shot slightly better from three (31% vs 22%), they were unable to overcome TMTC’s massive advantage on the glass and in the paint. TMTC + OBGC’s ability to control the interior and force turnovers proved decisive in what became a lopsided win

2:00 PM – Twin Mountain Top Construction + Oneonta Boys & Girls Club (Orchid) 84, Five Star Subaru (Purple) 57

Hartwick College

TMTC + OBGC continued their strong play with a dominant 84-57 victory over Five Star Subaru. After a close first half, the Orchid team pulled away in the second half behind elite offensive efficiency and disruptive defense.

Game Flow

TMTC + OBGC built a 45-23 halftime lead and never looked back. They shot over 50% from the field as a team and recorded 15 steals, constantly creating turnovers and transition opportunities. Five Star Subaru struggled to find any rhythm offensively and could not slow down TMTC’s attack, particularly Connor Van der Sommen, who was unstoppable.

Standout Performances

TMTC + OBGC (Orchid)

Connor Van der Sommen: 40 points (15-22 FG, 5-12 3PT, 5-7 FT), 6 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals

Team Stat Comparison Final Score: TMTC + OBGC 84 | Five Star Subaru 57

  • Field Goal %: TMTC + OBGC 51% | Five Star Subaru 32%

  • 3PT %: TMTC + OBGC 19% | Five Star Subaru 26%

  • Rebounds: TMTC + OBGC 35 | Five Star Subaru 41

  • Assists: TMTC + OBGC 16 | Five Star Subaru 15

  • Turnovers: TMTC + OBGC 10 | Five Star Subaru 20

  • Steals: TMTC + OBGC 15 | Five Star Subaru 5

Advanced Metrics Analysis TMTC + OBGC thoroughly dominated this game from an efficiency and defensive standpoint. They posted a strong 54.93% eFG% while holding Five Star Subaru to just 38.41% eFG%. The most glaring difference was in turnovers and defense — TMTC forced 20 turnovers and recorded 15 steals, creating numerous easy scoring opportunities.

Although Five Star Subaru won the rebounding battle (+6), they were unable to convert that into offense due to poor shooting (32% FG) and constant defensive pressure. Connor Van der Sommen’s 40-point outburst, combined with Britten Zeh’s 7 steals, gave TMTC a massive advantage in both scoring and disruption. This was a complete team win for TMTC + OBGC, who are quickly establishing themselves as one of the top teams in the league.

3:00 PM – Tino's Pizzeria + Philthy's Laundromat (Carolina) 55, Five Star Subaru (Purple) 59

Five Star Subaru held off a late charge from Tino’s Pizzeria + Philthy’s Laundromat to secure a hard-fought 59-55 victory. The game was physical and low-scoring, with both teams struggling to find consistent offense under the deeper college 3-point line.

Game Flow

Five Star Subaru led 27-25 at halftime and maintained a narrow lead throughout the second half. Tino’s made a strong push late in the game, but Five Star’s rebounding advantage and timely stops allowed them to close out the win. The game was decided by execution in the final minutes rather than a large statistical gap.

Standout Performances

Five Star Subaru (Purple)

Ezra Ontl: 22 points (8-16 FG, 5-11 3PT), 1 rebound, 3 assists

Ibrahim Wally: 6 points, 20 rebounds

Derek Wright: 13 points (5-14 FG), 10 rebounds, 1 assist

Tino's Pizzeria + Philthy's Laundromat (Carolina)

Zyeir Lawrence: 27 points (11-17 FG, 1-4 3PT, 4-7 FT), 12 rebounds

Ayden O'Connor: 13 points (6-12 FG), 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals

Team Stat Comparison Final Score: Five Star Subaru 59 | Tino’s + Philthy’s 55

  • Field Goal %: Five Star Subaru 35% | Tino’s + Philthy’s 48%

  • 3PT %: Five Star Subaru 34% | Tino’s + Philthy’s 24%

  • Assists: Five Star Subaru 13 | Tino’s + Philthy’s 10

  • Turnovers: Five Star Subaru 14 | Tino’s + Philthy’s 8

  • Steals: Five Star Subaru 2 | Tino’s + Philthy’s 5

Advanced Metrics Analysis

This was a low-possession, grind-it-out game where rebounding and efficiency proved decisive. Although Tino’s + Philthy’s shot better from the field (48% vs 35%), Five Star Subaru held a significant rebounding advantage (+15) and capitalized on second-chance opportunities.

Five Star Subaru also shot better from three (34% vs 24%), which helped offset their lower field goal percentage. Tino’s generated more steals (5 vs 2) and committed fewer turnovers, but they were unable to overcome Five Star’s dominance on the glass. The deeper college 3-point line appeared to limit both teams’ perimeter production, resulting in a slower, more physical game that favored the team that controlled the boards.

4:00 PM – Tino's Pizzeria + Philthy's Laundromat (Carolina) 66, Hughson & Benson Insurance (Teal) 69 (OT)

Hughson & Benson Insurance outlasted Tino’s Pizzeria + Philthy’s Laundromat in overtime, winning 69-66 in a hard-fought, back-and-forth battle. Both teams had chances to win in regulation, but neither could pull away until the extra period.

Game Flow

The game was tight throughout, with neither team leading by more than a few possessions. Tino’s held a slim 32-31 halftime lead, but Hughson & Benson responded in the second half. After a frantic finish that saw multiple lead changes, the game went to overtime. Hughson & Benson made the plays they needed in the extra period to secure the three-point victory.

Standout Performances

Hughson & Benson Insurance (Teal)

Bisskit Robinson: 21 points (8-16 FG, 3-7 3PT), 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 2 blocks — strong two-way game

  • 3PT %: Hughson & Benson 32% | Tino’s + Philthy’s 17%

  • Rebounds: Hughson & Benson 38 | Tino’s + Philthy’s 39

  • Assists: Hughson & Benson 18 | Tino’s + Philthy’s 13

  • Turnovers: Hughson & Benson 21 | Tino’s + Philthy’s 16

  • Steals: Hughson & Benson 8 | Tino’s + Philthy’s 7

Advanced Metrics Analysis

This was a low-efficiency, grind-it-out game that went to overtime. Tino’s + Philthy’s held a slight edge in Effective Field Goal Percentage (45.52% vs 45.00%) and shot better from the field, but Hughson & Benson’s superior ball movement (18 assists to 13) and better three-point shooting (32% vs 17%) helped them stay competitive.

The game was ultimately decided by execution in overtime rather than a large statistical gap. Both teams committed a high number of turnovers (Hughson & Benson had 21), which kept the game close. Zyeir Lawrence’s 35-point outburst kept Tino’s in the game, but Hughson & Benson’s ability to get stops when they needed them and capitalize on second-chance opportunities in OT proved to be the difference.

5:00 PM – Hughson & Benson Insurance (Teal) 68, Meeker State Farm (Light Orange) 58

Hughson & Benson Insurance defeated Meeker State Farm 68-58 in a controlled, physical victory. After building a double-digit halftime lead, Hughson & Benson maintained their advantage and closed out the game with steady defense and efficient scoring.

Game Flow

Hughson & Benson jumped out to a 36-24 halftime lead behind strong shooting from Allen Osborne and Jared Hawkins. Meeker State Farm fought back in the second half and cut the deficit to single digits, but Hughson & Benson responded with timely stops and held on for the 10-point win. Meeker showed fight on the glass but couldn’t overcome Hughson & Benson’s balanced attack.

Standout Performances

Hughson & Benson Insurance (Teal)

Allen Osborne: 20 points (7-13 FG, 3-5 3PT), 3 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 blocks — efficient scoring and defensive

Jared Hawkins: 16 points (6-16 FG), 4 rebounds, 1 assist

  • Field Goal %: Hughson & Benson 39% | Meeker 37%

  • 3PT %: Hughson & Benson 39% | Meeker 27%

  • Assists: Hughson & Benson 12 | Meeker 12

  • Turnovers: Hughson & Benson 12 | Meeker 17

  • Steals: Hughson & Benson 6 | Meeker 3

Advanced Metrics Analysis

Hughson & Benson won with better overall efficiency and fewer mistakes. They held a slight edge in Effective Field Goal Percentage (46.72% vs 39.44%) and shot significantly better from three (39% vs 27%). Although Meeker State Farm dominated the rebounding battle (+18), they were unable to convert those extra possessions into points due to poor shooting and higher turnovers.

Hughson & Benson’s ability to take care of the ball and shoot more efficiently from beyond the arc proved decisive. Meeker’s rebounding advantage was neutralized by Hughson & Benson’s defensive pressure and better shot selection. This was a solid, well-rounded win for Hughson & Benson, who continue to show they can control games when they play with discipline.

6:00 PM – Vibbard Electrical Contracting (Orange) 77, Poolbrook Contracting (Green) 51

Vibbard Electrical Contracting delivered a dominant performance, defeating Poolbrook Contracting 77-51. After building a 35-19 halftime lead, Vibbard pulled away in the second half with strong shooting and balanced scoring from multiple players.

Game Flow

Vibbard came out aggressive and built a commanding 16-point halftime lead. They continued to pull away in the second half behind efficient scoring from Gavin Zinger and Braymon Clark. Poolbrook struggled with turnovers (22) and couldn’t find consistent offense, allowing Vibbard to cruise to a 26-point victory.

Standout Performances

Vibbard Electrical Contracting (Orange)

Gavin Zinger: 27 points (13-29 FG), 12 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals

Braymon Clark: 22 points (9-17 FG, 4-7 3PT), 7 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals

  • Rebounds: Vibbard 45 | Poolbrook 28

  • Assists: Vibbard 16 | Poolbrook 10

  • Turnovers: Vibbard 10 | Poolbrook 22

  • Steals: Vibbard 6 | Poolbrook 2

Advanced Metrics Analysis

Orange thoroughly outplayed Poolbrook across most categories. They held a clear efficiency edge and dominated the rebounding battle (+17). Most notably, Vibbard forced 22 turnovers from Poolbrook while committing only 10 themselves, creating numerous transition scoring opportunities.

Although both teams shot at similar field goal percentages, Orange's superior ball movement (16 assists to 10) and better three-point shooting (32% vs 25%) gave them a significant advantage. Poolbrook’s high turnover total and inability to secure rebounds proved costly. This was a complete team win for Vibbard, who controlled the game from start to finish.

7:00 PM – Otsego Bicycles + Table Rock Fitness (Grey) 50, Vibbard Electrical Contracting (Orange)

Vibbard Electrical Contracting defeated Otsego Bicycles + Table Rock Fitness 60-50 in a defensive, low-scoring contest. Vibbard pulled away in the second half after a tied first half, using better shooting efficiency and ball security to secure the win.

Game Flow

The first half was tight, with both teams struggling to score. Vibbard outscored Grey 35-25 in the second half behind more efficient shooting and fewer turnovers. Grey dominated the rebounding battle but was hurt by 15 turnovers and poor three-point shooting (22%). Vibbard’s ability to take care of the ball and convert at a higher rate proved to be the difference.

Standout Performances

Vibbard Electrical Contracting (Orange)

Gavin Zinger: 22 points (9-18 FG, 3-6 3PT), 4 rebounds, 2 assists

Braymon Clark: 16 points (6-15 FG, 3-8 3PT), 7 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 1 block

Otsego Bicycles + Table Rock Fitness (Grey)

Alex Little: 14 points (6-17 FG), 9 rebounds, 3 steals

Jonah Burness: 13 points (5-11 FG), 8 rebounds

Ben Conklin: 11 points (5-8 FG), 6 rebounds, 2 blocks

Team Stat Comparison Final Score: Vibbard 60 | Grey 50

  • Field Goal %: Vibbard 45% | Grey 40%

  • 3PT %: Vibbard 33% | Grey 22%

  • Rebounds: Vibbard 19 | Grey 35

  • Assists: Vibbard 11 | Grey 5

  • Turnovers: Vibbard 12 | Grey 15

  • Steals: Vibbard 10 | Grey 5

Advanced Metrics Analysis

Orange won despite being out-rebounded by 16 boards. They held a clear efficiency advantage, posting a 50.89% eFG% compared to Grey’s 41.51%. Vibbard also shot significantly better from three (33% vs 22%) and committed fewer turnovers.

Although Grey controlled the glass, their inability to convert those rebounds into points — combined with poor perimeter shooting and higher turnovers — prevented them from taking control of the game. Orange’s superior ball movement (11 assists to 5) and better shooting efficiency allowed them to overcome the rebounding deficit. This was a classic example of efficiency and ball security beating raw rebounding volume.
